iPhone and iPad
On iPhone and iPad, the Smarters Player Lite app downloads from the App Store. It’s free, with ads. You can also watch in the browser, with nothing to install.
What to do
-
In the App Store, search for “Smarters Player Lite” and install the one by the developer WHMCS Smarters. It’s free, with ads.
-
Open it, accept the agreement, then choose “Xtream Code”.
-
Fill in the four boxes: any name, your username, your password, then the portal address in the box that starts with http. Press “Add Playlist”.
Several look-alikes with similar names charge a subscription. The real one’s paid version isn’t needed.
If Smarters Player Lite doesn’t offer “Xtream Code”, try UHF, by Short Wavelength Applications, on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad. It’s free to start. Its full version is paid to UHF, not to us.
What you got
Three pieces of information, typed once per device.
- A username
- A string of letters and numbers. It’s not your email.
- A password
- The one for your TV access. It’s not the one for your account on this site.
- A portal address
- It starts with http. Depending on the app, it’s called “portal”, “server”, “host” or “URL”.
You’ll find all three in My account.
When it doesn’t work
- The picture freezes or keeps spinning
- It’s almost always the internet connection. Move the device closer to the router or plug it in by cable. Otherwise, close the app and reopen it.
- It cuts out when someone else is watching
- That’s normal: a subscription allows one device at a time.
- The app says the credentials are wrong
- Check the uppercase letters, and that you typed the password for your TV access, not the one for your account on this site.
- Nothing loads at all
- Check the end date in your account: a subscription that has ended stops working without warning.
